Rachel Miller is a company member, choreographer, and instructor in her 11th season with Wellspring/Cori Terry & Dancers. She attended Ohio State as a Dance major and holds a BA from Western Michigan University in Creative Writing. Some of her performance credits include the University Dance Company at Ohio State, Robin Becker & Company, and Southold Dance Theater. In 2005, she received the Irving S. Gilmore Foundation Emerging Artist Grant to create an evening length work in collaboration with the prestigious spoken word artist Jonathan Brown, and 2010, created a second evening length work with Brown that was funded by The Arts Council of Greater Kalamazoo and was performed in New Orleans and Kalamazoo. Rachel has received high honors for her choreography in Prague and was a 2009 Michigan Dance Council finalist for the Maggie Allesee New Choreography award. Rachel is also a certified Pilates Instructor and an Aerial Artist for ZFX Flying Effects in Louisville.
